Fancy a FREE Liver Detox before Xmas?
To get access you need to be a client and or follow my blog http://www.jaxallenfitness.com and you’ll get it FREE.
Great if you want to sleep better, ease your digestion or just to lose a few pounds before the holidays.
The 2014 Detox will launch on November 17th, you can do a single day, 7 day or full 10 day plan.
Easy to follow with full shopping list and day by day instructions. A 1 day fruit fast is the core of the plan. If you exercise a lot and have thought about adding intermittent fasts to your own program, this might be a good way to start.
As you know I am very physically active so I always add BCAA protein supplements to my fasts ( I don’t want to lose any muscle) but with this 1 day fruit fast I’ll stick to the plan).
I hope you decide to join me, I’m looking forward to my Xmas break so this will mark the beginning of my rest & Recuperation for December.

Reduce Sugar intake too!
Earlier this year I bought a MagicBullit and I love it. Ever since seeing a demonstration I’ve wanted one. I chose it because it came with 6 ‘carry with you’ cups with lids. So, no looking for a glass or extra washing up. You can also make a soup and heat it in a micro at work with the clever steamer cap. Another way to avoid sugar and sweetener filled energy/ protein bars when you don’t fancy a packed lunch.
My main nutritional weakness is not eating enough green vegetables. I buy them, but get sick of simple steamed cruciate veggies, I prefer a good leafy salad with shredded beets, but it doesn’t fill me up!
With my new goal of reducing processed sugars, I wanted to do that by drinking a daily green smoothie. And I also wanted to upgrade my big, noisy blender. So, I bit the bullet (pun intended) and searched Amazon for a Bullitt mixer, and it’s been great. It’s so easy to clean, you can’t make too much so no worries about gaining weight – which many people do when they turn a healthy green smoothie into a pudding by adding much fruit.
I’ve been keeping my recipes fairly simple and very low sugar. Here is the recipe I’ve been using most.
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 serving Vanilla Low Carb protein powder
2 cups chard/kale/spinach mix (or sometimes just spinach)
2-4 ice cubes to thicken/chill
This green smoothie is delicious and keeps me energised all day.
You can get bigger Bullits – but the temptation is to increase your portion size, or try to save it (these mixes must be enjoyed immediately) otherwise you will waste the leftovers!

Hot Yoga Tips #1
Bring to class: a water bottle, a beach-size towel, and your yoga mat ( although we have a nice padded floor- so don’t worry if you don’t have one)
Hot Yoga Tips #2
Wear lightweight, form-fitting clothes. Women typically wear shorts, a sports bra, and a tank top and men usually wear shorts and a tank top or go shirtless.
Hot Yoga Tips #3
No mobile phones on the mat. Secure your phone and keys in lockers.
Hot Yoga Tips #4
Drink plenty of water, including an extra litre on the day of class. Try coconut water.
Hot Yoga Tips #5
Avoid eating heavy foods in the two hours prior to your class. It is best to come on an empty stomach.
Hot Yoga Tips #6
Arrive 10-15 minutes early to class the first day so we can give you guidance and help you find the right spot in the Sweat Box.
Hot Yoga Tips #7
Class will begin as promptly as possible; in order to respect the meditation of the other students, late arrivals (after 5-6 minutes) will not be admitted.
Hot Yoga Tips #8
Be prepared to sweat a lot and have LOTS OF FUN!
Most important if you want a spot in class you must remember to book!

"THIS time I will lose ....... pounds of fat
and gain ……….. pounds of muscle !"
Autumn will be here before we know it,
the evenings will draw in and we will
start thinking about the end of the year.
If you’re like me I also start to think
about doing something different to do,
and as I’m not looking to go to evening
classes I will set goals to get in better
shape before Christmas.
These tips really work… Read Them… Use Them…
1. Life Style Plan
Use a lifestyle fat loss plan rather than a crash-diet
you know will just let you down.
Remember every crash/mad/ weird/Detox diet you have EVER
tried didn’t work either.
Let's get real: Almost every diet plan is based on getting
your excess weight off as fast as possible...
AND THAT KEEPS US FAT!
My plan includes eating your favourite foods every week.
Dropping body fat quick enough to keep me happy especially
at the beginning - YET Slow enough to keep your BODY HAPPY.
If your body is happy your fat loss will stay steady and not
rush back as soon as you return into a normal pattern.
2. Write Goals in Your Journal
Write your goals down in two different formats to take
advantage of the way your brain processes information.
Your mind is a marvellous machine... but you have to know
how it works to take full advantage of the power between
Just "speaking" a goal or thinking about it is NOT going
to get you where you want to go. Most of us know this.
And perhaps you take the next, crucial step:
You WRITE DOWN your goals.
That's great... YET that's only 1/4 the battle.
Here's what you must do:
Write your body goals down two ways.
Keep both goals in different locations
around the house
where you will see them and read them
#1: PRESENT TENSE:
Here, you state your goal as if it has already happened.
The TRICK here is to do so without lying to yourself.
A lot of "Self-Help" gurus suggest saying things like,
"I am fit, trim and beautiful!" Yet if you are NOT fit
or trim YET and you KNOW it, this idea can backfire...
especially if you love honesty.
Most of us love honesty, so let's BE HONEST with ourselves
while still taking advantage of the power that future-tense
goals can offer.
Write your goal like this:
"I see December 1, 2013, and I see my body: Fit,
trim, and beautiful!"
Same strategy - better results.
Since you can imagine December 1, 2013, your mind will be more
empowered to imagine the BODY you desire along with it.
This is perhaps the BEST way to state a goal --
as one in the process of becoming reality.
This is the best way to keep
it real as well. : )
Here's what you say:
"I am in the process of becoming more fit and trim by December 1, 2013!"
Your body will start following your mind's directive and
help you achieve your goals.
3. Finally, buddy-up!
If you have a family member or friend that shares your
desires for a better body in 2013, team up with them.
Studies show that friends and trainers that keep you
accountable increase your success for long-term weight
loss by over 400%.
Use my Facebook group to meet other likeminded health &
fitness enthusiasts Facebook.com/Jax Allen and request
to join our Fatloss group.
So buddy- up and make a promise to train 3 times a week every week,
together No Excuses! You’ll not be able to let your plan slip.
Weigh-in regularly and keep your results coming.
Remember, if you train with me - there
are rewards for bringing along friends
and work mates – they get a FREE trial –and when they sign up you get a FREE
session credit or two.
Your FIRST STEP... and most important for success, is to have your lifestyle-friendly diet plan ready to go.
Be Honest with yourself – make clear decisions about what you want
to achieve and how you will make it happen and you will !!
